About Hathi
With over 25 years experience as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and as a graduate of the Rutgers Graduate School of Social Work, she is currently in a private practice working with a broad spectrum of clients. Among her areas of expertise are individuals and families working through life crises such as trying to remain sane in this crazy-making world we all live in. Her own personal journey has lead her to develop an arsenal of tools and strategies which she shares with her clients.
She has specific expertise in helping people through critical life transitions such as divorce, children leaving for college and relationship endings.

  • Clinical Social Worker, Private Practice in Princeton, NJ, providing short-term and longer-term psychotherapy/coaching with individuals, couples, families and groups. Specialization in the areas of anxiety, depression, grief and eating disorders. (1991-Present)  
  • Public Speaker, initiate, create and present community based forums on health care-related topics, eating disorders, parenting, divorce, school avoidance, college transitioning, ADHD, and stress management/mindfulness. (1991-Present)
  • Senior Clinical Social Worker, Princeton University Counseling Center, Princeton, NJ, provided short-term individual psychotherapy/counseling services to undergraduate and graduate students. (2000-2002)
  •  Psychiatric Social Worker, Princeton House, a division of Princeton Medical Center, Princeton, NJ, provided individual and group psychotherapy for day patients on psychiatric, MICA, women’s program and restricted units. (1996-1999)
